- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Update: After my husband went to their office to resolve this issue, they were very helpful and fast. They were able to get us a homestead exemption with the county. I was disappointed with their response when I first called and got a very rude "it's your fault" answer, but thankfully, they were much more helpful once we posted a negative review. Original: We used this title company for our home purchase in May 2015 and they stated they would file our homestead exemption for us (we signed a paper telling them it's ok to do this under the impression they would) and come to find out, they never filed one at all and take zero responsibility for it. They said it was my responsibility to know if they filed or not...I asked for a copy they sent to the Appraisers and SHOCKER, they don't have a copy if! So they are saying it's not their responsibility to do something they had me SIGN stating they will do. Absolutely horrible service and I will never use them again. Oh and the kicker, I have an e-mail chain asking the same question back in May 2015 and they said they will file for us. Now I'm out thousands of dollars.September 12, 2017by Ivana Runjaic
